The Black Methodists for Renewal, Texas Annual Conference, Houston Area Local Caucus’ vision is a renewed, transformed, unified body of Christ.
We are on a mission in the world to raise prophetic and spiritual leaders. We want those leaders to be advocates for the unique needs of Black people in the United Methodist Church.
BMCR values include sharing the legacy of black people, programs, and events. BMCR serves within the Wesleyan heritage of vital piety and social holiness. We are committed to developing spiritual and prophetic leaders. We want to build a positive and supportive relationship within the United Methodist connection for inclusiveness and justice.
